A major road scheme aimed at improving walking and cycling on East Hill in Colchester will get under way in the coming weeks.
The scheme is funded by the Town Deal to better connect the city centre with Greenstead, the University of Essex, and the new Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community walking and cycling network.
