Colchester MP Pam Cox has said she is confident the council will ensure the city is accessible and affordable for motorists ahead of the closure of a major car park later this year.
Britannia car park will be out of action late this summer as builders prepare for a project which, it is hoped, will regenerate the area around St Botolph’s Priory.
